Set in its own private grounds, Hyland’s is within a few minutes’ walk of the seafront, beach, and town facilities. We are situated close enough to town for convenience, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy peace and quiet. Remarkable
We have visited Hylands several times since they opened ten years ago. There has been a remarkable transformation over this time with so many alterations and improvements to the apartments and parking facilities which gets better every year. Keith and a Lance are always very pleasant and helpful during our visits and more than happy to go the extra mile to make your holiday a pleasant one.

Amazing
Just got back from this amazing accommodation, was welcomed as soon as we arrived as per normal with Keith and Lance. The Hallway and landing areas had been re decorated since our last visit and must say it’s been done to a very high spec as expected by our hosts. Already booked our return to this lovely accommodation for next years Teignmouth UK Fishing Championships.
FAQ
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Our standard check-in time is 15:00 onwards, and check-out is before 09:00. If you need early check-in or late check-out, let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule. Additionally, we want to make it clear that there is no pressure to be dead on time! We really value having a relaxed checking in and even being able to have a nice cup of tea with you on your arrival.
We also are happy to pick up our guests from local stations and coach stations.
Do you offer free WiFi?
Yes, we provide complimentary Wi-Fi throughout Hylands for all our guests.
Is parking available on-site?
Yes, we have on-site parking, however, we ask for one parking space per apartment so there’s space for all our guests
Are pets allowed?
Yes. However, the charge is £30 per dog, per week. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per apartment.
What is your cancellation policy?
For bookings cancelled within 4 weeks or less we will charge the full rate unless we are able to re-let the accommodation.
The deposit is non refundable
Do you have accessible rooms and facilities?
Our accessible apartment, which is apartment 2, is currently undergoing refurbishments. However, later this year it will be ready and available.
